Resources
Here are some practical resources to equip you with how to learn how to love your neighbor as yourself. These are suitable for individuals and families.
Neighboring Chart
What would happen if we all made an attempt to build relationships with the people in the 8 households that are closest to you? Use the Neighborhood Chart as a visual reminder to be intentional with those God has placed around you. The goal is to go from Strangers to Acquaintances, and from Acquaintances to Relationships.
International Restaurants
International restaurants are an easy gateway to experiencing other cultures without leaving your hometown. Through authentic flavors, traditional recipes, and unique dining customs, they offer a taste of a country’s history, values, and way of life, and connection across cultures.
Raising Children with Hope
Parenting and passing the gospel on to our children these days gets more and more challenging by the hour. However, as Christians, we have a deep, gospel-grounded hope that God will use every detail of our lives for the glory of His name. Listen to this podcast by Radical where they share insights and practical encouragement to help Christians love the next generation with hope for them, and for the world.
30 Days of Praying Through Your Neighborhood
There is something deep and transformational that happens when we walk the streets of our community while conversing with God. Take time to Walk, Pray, Pay Attention, and Listen with this 30 day prayer guide.
Books
Across the Street Around the World
In the middle of diapers, dishes, papers, or presentations, deep down, we long to live a life of purpose, with a bit of adventure. But if we do something, we think we have to do everything—and do it in Africa. In Across the Street and Around the World, Jeannie Marie shows us we can change the world right where we already live, work, play, and study—by learning to grow genuine, spiritually deep friendships with people from other countries, cultures, and faiths.
When Helping Hurts
Poverty is much more than simply a lack of material resources, and it takes much more than donations and handouts to solve it. " Helping Hurts shows how some alleviation efforts, failing to consider the complexities of poverty, have actually (and unintentionally) done more harm than good. It encourages us to see the dignity in everyone, to empower the materially poor, and to know that we are all uniquely needy—and that God in the gospel is reconciling all things to himself.

Radical
In Radical, David Platt challenges you to consider with an open heart how we have manipulated the gospel to fit our cultural preferences. He shows what Jesus actually said about being his disciple--then invites you to believe and obey what you have heard. And he tells the dramatic story of what is happening as a "successful" suburban church decides to get serious about the gospel according to Jesus.
